1. Who’s behind this conference?

Just like almost all Python and PyData conferences this event is run and organised by volunteers contributing free time and supported by community sponsors contributing work time of their employees. Any conference profits will go back to the community and Open Source via NumFocus.

2. What’s the conference language?

The conference is in English.

3. Can I volunteer at the conference?

Yes, PyData Amsterdam is organized and run by volunteers and we need your help to make the conference run as smoothly as possible! Would you like to get involved at the conference, meet new people and enjoy great content - then please apply.

By volunteering you’ll get:

  • Free admission to the conference
  • Opportunity to connect with speakers
  • Volunteer t-shirt

Requirements: You simply have to be passionate about Python/Julia/R and/or data science and be a team player. If that sounds like you, please fill out this form before the 17th of July.
